Its simple for everyone in our community to help at the community kitchen , even those who may not have the time to attend and support in person.
Did you know that each week the community kitchen costs between $150 and $250 to run, this money allows us to purchase the fresh food for the meals, disposable containers for meals to give to those in emergancy accomodation or newly homeless during the week when the kitchen is not operating , and it also helps us purchase the craft and activities for children and individuals to participate in whilst community kitchen is operating.
Each week we would love to raise the money needed for each week , the goulburn community kitchen is a non funded program run purely by volunteers for our community.
If you would like to contribute to the workk of the community kitchen you can make a tax deductible donation via the donate button on the right hand side of the page .
Please be sure to leave you details so we can forward a thank you and your tax receipt .
Thank you so much for the amazing support we look forward to supporting our community with you.

☆A massive thank-you to tonight's volunteers who were all new volunteers, so a very big welcome to the angels family ☆
Tonight was Angels Goulburn s very first community kitchen and it was awesome!
We served dinner to 32 wonderful people and had a team of 8 amazing volunteers.
Dinner was hot pumpkin soup, garlic bread , pasta bolognaise, salad and for desert we had choc mousse with a wide choice of toppings including ice cream, whipped cream, sprinkles, popping candy, mini marshmallows and choc topping.
All the kids enjoyed making mothers day cards and gifts....the big kids enjoyed a game of cards but most of all everyone enjoyed chatting in the warmth.
We made sure to cook up extra so everyone could take some away for another meal and also so that we could freeze meals to hand out this week to those in need.
A big thankyou again to the Wesley center for the use of their kitchen and hall and thank you to our awesome volunteers for a great team effort tonight.
We look forward doing it all again next week.
for the past 6 months the Angels team having planning and working towards opening the Goulburn Community kitchen, we are so excited to announce that the wait is almost over !
Next week on the 9th of May we will kick off for the very first time .
From next Saturday the angels team will provide a FREE 3 course meal each Saturday night at the Goulburn Wesley drop in center.
The aim is to provide hot nourishing meals to those in our community that need it the most , this includes the local homeless community, vulnerable elderly and disabled individuals and family's struggling to provide 3 square meals a day.
a Minimum of 8 volunteers are required each Saturday evening to assist with a range of tasks including food prep, cooking, cleaning, craft activities , supervision of games and most importantly of all interacting with those attending the kitchen.
each evening a family friendly movie will be on the TV, the heaters will be on and a range of Board games and craft activities will be available to engage attendees.
The kitchen is about much more than such food, its about community connectedness, social support and just being their to share a smile and a warm conversation.
Each night we will cook more food than we need on the night , enabling angels to have ready cooked meals to provide to clients who are living in emergency accommodation, newely homeless individuals or vulnerable sick, elederly or disabled individuals struggling to feed themselves.
we would love the local community to get behind this amazing initiative !
