The CCP, or Crisis Care Package is our core service at present, and it is the most vital service we provide overall. Crisis Care Packages are designed to be given to children who are in crisis or have been removed and are placed into out-of-home care. It is a sad reality that these children come in to care after unthinkable abuse, neglect, ill health or family tragedy.

Most children will enter care with nothing more than the clothes on their backs, and without warning. These children will experience a very turbulent and unsettling time immediately following removal.Children are faced with unfamiliar locations and unfamiliar faces and often take awhile to adjust to the different path their life is now on.

WHATS IN A PACK ?
The CCP is designed to be given to the child en route to their first placement or on arrival in a crisis service such as a refuge.
Each package targets 3 key areas;
~ Self help or self soothing
~ Personal hygiene and self esteem
~ Emotional wellbeing and sense of ownership
All packages are made gender and age appropriate and as needed, sensitive to cultural needs, and come in a lovingly made library or tote style bag.
